Meghan met Brad while recruiting a keynote speaker for UBC's 2007 class of Occupational Therapists research conference and they quickly became friends. Her interest in splinting came in handy and she helped out by making the casts for the molds to make the new, super tough splints to be made on.

She is currently pursuing new adventures and living in Yellowknife, NWT. She works as an OT with kids in Yellowknife and throughout the NWT and Kitikmeot region of Nunavut. She just registered for her first 1/2 Ironman and is planning on racing in the Rock and Ice Ultra (75km run/snowshoe) in March. She hopes to add climbing to her repetoire once she is in the vicinity of mountains again.
