RealTime Monitoring
Shirley Chiu (Photographer)

The first time I met Brad, he said he would cook me dinner. I knew he was in a chair but because he said he would make dinner, I assumed he was a paraplegic. Too my surprise he was actually a quad that wanted me to microwave cold tea. After the initial shock, I discovered he actually climbs mountains. Not just a leisurely hike but up the steep side.

I'm not a climber. I would say I'm afraid heights and generally, falling. However, to see Brad pursue his childhood dream and generate so much support from volunteers from such diverse backgrounds is very inspirational. I think I'll still keep my feet on the ground though. I am the owner and principle photographer at Mutefish Productions. My forte is people. Capturing life moments as they occur - a stolen kiss, a shared smile, a big jovial laugh, a man in a wheelchair climbing a mountain. Everyone has a story. I have the privilege of documenting these everyday events in peoples' lives.
