In a car accident somewhere between Prince George, British Columbia and Jasper, Alberta, Brad suffers a C5 incomplete spinal cord injury (here's more on spinal cord injury classification). After two months in hospital and eight months in rehabilitation, Brad is eager to get back into computer science. He still feels, though, that there is something missing in his life: adventure. At this point, it seems impossible for him to ascend a rope but maybe Brad can enjoy rappelling down small cliffs. So once again, Brad's dad George begins adapting equipment for Brad.
