Hobey made the bag for my feet. We added it on right at the base, no time to test it. It did the job, but we will need to fix the way my knees get torqued on. A full lower body mould may be required. Experts only for this "trail"

This approach can be done with the TrailRyder, but is not something I would recommend to ANYONE!

Thanks again to the pack animals, without your efforts I would be stuck on the flats. We were estimating two hours each direction into the base, but these tough guys did it in way less.

(Hobey, Mark in back, Aaron and Chris in front.)
Can anyone still see Dad at the base? This is as high as I have ever climbed as a Quad.

This is a bad place to be with full on "Autonomic Dysreflexia" kicking in. Read about what that is here.
Chris is an unbelievably strong climber. He saved our butts with some last minute welding and the carry in and out!

Chris does some of the harder routes around. On ice, rock or both -- Chris is at home. He ensured everything was bomber for our climb. Safety on the ropes and anchors far exceeded what climbers normally would employ.

(Oh ... he has a cell phone joke too, verrry funny on the 4th go round!)
I can't thank my crew enough. Without the right people this project goes nowhere. With luck we can get all the same people for next summer. We aim to do the whole Grand Wall route.

Very small from the parking lot. We are at the red arrow: 120 meters (of slabby rock) in about 5 hours. The Chief is 650 meters, and we are going back next summer to finish the head wall (aproximately 300 meters). OK Dad, we have four days, build me a climbing rig! No joke folks, my Dad has made me countless custom rigs with little or no time before we climb.
Thanks BCMOSS for the use of the Trailryder. Hobey Quote: "Did you have to put a deposit down on this rental?" Because we took this rig to the limit! Sorry, yes, we did take some paint off it.
These pics are all "family" snaps from the ground.

My climbing buddy from way back in Prince George, B.C. Take a look at Mark's site.
Here's another angle from the ground.
It is 150 meters of slab to the head wall. Getting some height here, starting to get bit freaky.
